What’s New?

Under The 380!

A recent random walk along a dedicated walking and bike path led me to a stunning Sydney Airport vantage point. This spot is very close to one of the runways and it allows you to be right beneath planes as they arrive or depart.

On this occasion planes were only departing over this point therefore they were well above me, also I only had my Fujifilm X100VI with me because this visit was unplanned, and therefore I was restricted by the focal length.

Despite wishing that it was an approach and not a takeoff, I was very excited to see the mighty A380 roaring toward me!

I plan to visit again with my X-T5 camera and longer lens option, hopefully to witness planes as they are about to land, coming in right over the top of the approach lights.
